About Associate Director, Commercial Analytics

  Reference #: 1319Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for an Associate Director, Commercial Analytics in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders in the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) within the Commercial organization. Sales will be the primary stakeholder with additional support to Marketing and other Commercial teams as required.  Success in this role depends on a deep understanding of product commercialization and how to connect operations to revenue-generating activities.  It also entails developing a thorough understanding of the sales process and patient journey. This position needs to be a specialist in championing system education, implementation, and process refinements that directly enable Commercial functions to maximize their data intelligence that will drive strategic decision making. Title commensurate with experience.

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support Sales excellence by proactively providing analytics and reporting to enable Commercial leadership to manage effectively. Refine and define KPIs for the Commercial organization to gain insights into the health of the organization and opportunities for improvement.Support and complete routine analytics for Sales team. Develop and create approaches to look for and analyze data to elucidate the impact on the success of the business to support data driven decision making.Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Commercial organization to react and take proactive action based on market dynamics.Partner with analytics vendors to produce new and creative reporting solutions within the business intelligence applications that will become part of core reporting deliverables.Conduct presentations detailing analytical assumptions to the Commercial leadership team designed to foster discussion that effectively drive team understanding of key events and facilitate decision-making across the stakeholders.Lead monthly review meetings with Sales leadership to discuss performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Foster and create an environment that maximizes data insights through analytics that drive effective and informed decision-making.Support development and refinement of HCP targeting to enable optimal business planning and call activity by the Sales team.Develop best practices within Sales analytics to assist in driving Commercial excellence and execution.Partner with the Marketing team to develop and execute analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of HCP and patient marketing tactics.Perform adhoc analysis based upon the needs of the business.

  Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required; MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred7+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology Commercial analytics functions with exposure to data warehousing and systematizing data operationsExceptional problem-solving abilities and results orientationThorough knowledge of the rare disease patient journey, including market access, specialty pharmacy and closed distribution networks, as well as HUB servicesProven ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis while translating the results into easily digestible messages, communications, and presentationsSound presentation skillsExcellent experience with business intelligence solutions and application developmentStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneouslyAdvanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint requiredAbility to work as a team player in a very fast-paced, ever-changing environmentPhysical demands and work environment:Domestic travel is estimated to be 20% of the time for this position.While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and ell phone.Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.What can Harmony offer you?Medical, Vision and Dental benefits the first of the month following start dateGenerous paid time off and Company designated HolidaysCompany paid Disability benefits and Life Insurance coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid Parental leaveEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Company sponsored wellness programsProfessional development initiatives and continuous learning opportunitiesA certified Great Place to Work for five consecutive years based on our positive, values-based company culture
