　　Purpose and Scope:

　　Identify opportunities to transform business processes based on business process analysis & assessment in close collaboration with each Technology & Manufacturing (T&M) function and DAT, assist in securing necessary resources, make/manage the project portfolio of the identified opportunities, and assist project leads of each project in smoothly implementing them.

　　Essential Job Responsibilities:

　　Identify any Business Process Transformation (BPT) opportunities by introducing new ways of working (e.g., with digital technology) and assessing existing business process in close collaboration with internal stakeholders & external partners, and make/manage the project portfolio

　　Buy-in key stakeholders about identified opportunities before starting each project

　　Coordinate to reflect identified ideas to annual/mid-term plan for entire/part of T&M functions

　　Support each project lead to formulate/elaborate the plan (e.g., make business case) with compelling storyline for obtaining necessary approval toward the implementation

　　Lead the cross functional BPT project

　　The Associate Director, Business Process Transformation, CmfgO Office reports to the Head of CMfgO Office

　　Internal Relationships/Partnerships:

　　CMfgO Office members

　　Various T&M managements, i.e., each division head and senior leaders in T&M functions (of which total budget in FY23 is 2,100 oku-yen and the scope of activities at this position.)

　　TBIM members

　　Other division's members such Finance, Digital & Analytics Technology, HR, Corporate Strategy, Procurement, QA and RA etc

　　External consultants and IT vendors

　　Qualifications:

　　Required

　　PhD/MsD or equivalent degree with 3+ years of progressive experience in relatively large scale of IT system introduction/upgrade/replacement with business process optimization/transformation in pharmaceutical industry.

　　Working experience on Business Process Transformation PJs and/or at strategic consulting firm

　　Ability to make project plan, develop & evaluate business case, build cross-functional relationships, and collaboratively work on global basis.
