Job Overview

　　This role will suit a highly motivated finance professional driven to deliver results and a passion for developing people to extract their potential.

　　Responsibilities

　　Oversee day to day financial operations, coordinate month-end activities with the local accounting and finance teams and take ownership for the monthly reporting.

　　Provide high quality reporting and analysis to be used both internally and externally.

　　Ensure robust Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed.

　　Develop systems, process, and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

　　Represent Accounting & Finance at internal and external audit meetings.

　　Lead Statutory audits, grant discussions with local authorities and other external representatives as required.

　　SOX sign off for business units.

　　Partners with regional management, advising and developing processes to support reporting needs of the organization.

　　Coach and mentor staff to improve performance.

　　Complete ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management.

　　Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

　　Technically strong in IFRS. Strong knowledge of accounting policy and procedures

　　Excellent oral and written communications and strong leadership skills

　　Ability to build long term relationships with non-financial stakeholders.

　　Knowledge of financial systems, Peoplesoft and Hyperion an advantage

　　Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

　　High level of integrity and self-confidence

　　Continuous Process Improvement mindset

　　Qualifications

　　A fully qualified Accountant CA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience

　　3 / 5 Years Progressive PQE

　　Previous experience of working in or with Life Science or Manufacturing Organisations advantageous
