Associate Brand Manager - Baker's, Booker's, Little Book & Fred's Legacy

What makes this a great opportunity?
Reporting to the Global Brand Manager, this position will play a key role in leading product focused brand building initiatives. By partnering with internal cross functional teams, agency partners and the brand manager this role will: define long term brand strategies, support the develop of new distillery experiences, co-lead the development of innovation pipelines, serve as the brand lead for innovation and base project management, build commercialization support documents, analyze and action business performance, manage and track brand spend and own the execution of base packaging redesigns.
Role Responsibilities
(Gemba) Insight:
Analyze innovation performance, identify category and gemba based insights, and synthesize data into clear and compelling storylines with actionable recommendations Conduct ad hoc category and brand marketing mix analyses on product positioning, pricing strategy, and competitive activity to support innovation launches and strategic shifts to our base business Lead monthly brand business reviews with efforts to understand brand performance (v. LY, budget and the AW category) and provide actionable plans to accelerate growth and budget delivery. Assist with consumer/category research projects and communicate the shift to key cross functional stakeholders (e.g. NAM).
Brand Foundations & Stewardship:
Development commercialization documents to support the sell in and success of innovation Provide global brand strategy guidance and brand governance for programs and initiatives led by local marketing teams (e.g. programming tools, PR events, trade tools, etc) Build internal advocacy and excitement for the portfolio of brands and their respective innovations and brand initiatives Serve as the day to day brand contact to address cross functional questions and input
Strategy & Planning:
Serve as the day to day brand lead for the execution of innovation and base business projects (inclusive of Planisware system updates) Assist the Brand Manager with the 12 year planning process Lead monthly budget management process and ad-hoc budget scenario analysis as requested by leadership with efforts to maximize ROI Influence and shape innovation strategies, partnering with the innovation teams to develop the long-term pipeline view. Lead the redesign of base packaging for Baker's, Booker's and Little Book with efforts to accelerate the brands premiumization journey while also meeting BSI's sustainability ambitions. Partner with the Sales, Finance and RGM teams to maximize the business impact of our innovation Lead the project management and execution of Booker's base business batches
Distillery and Product Focused Experiences:
Partner with the JBBDCo team to create new brand home/distillery experiences Manage ongoing updates and maintenance for Baker's digital barrel tracking experience
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 years' consumer marketing experience. Global CPG, luxury brands or spirits experience preferred. Business degree (MBA preferred). Agency management experience required Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across an organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and agency and cross-functional partners Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Experience leading brand innovation projects Ability to deal with ambiguity and provide objective recommendations supported by data and consumer insights Sound written & verbal communication skills Strong analytical abilities; experienced in identifying opportunities through analysis and bringing those opportunities to fruition Experience and understanding of the alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system is preferred

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is a base salary of $100, 000- $115, 000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate's location, experience and skillset.
