  KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice.

  Responsibilities:Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including: planning, research, compliance, provision work, and mergers and acquisitions activitiesWork as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience to clientsPrepare tax returns for a variety of clients including: corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs Qualifications:A minimum of one year of public accounting and/or corporate tax experienceBachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/universityKnowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industriesExcellent research and writing skills

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, KPMG provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year. Additionally, each year the firm publishes a calendar of holidays to be observed during the year and provides two firmwide breaks each year where employees will not be required to use Personal Time Off; one is at year end and the other is around the July 4th holiday.   California Salary Range: $63000 - $92100
