  Associate Account Executive- Construction

  The salary range for this position isCAD $ 67,500 – $94,100 The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

  What the day will look like

  Each day is unique in this role. The daily work may look like any combination of tasks such as:

  Review bids, contracts, prepare sunshine letters, and invoice preparation

  Lead by example and assist colleagues in delivering DAU (Delivering Aon United) to clients and prospects;

  Delivering continuous excellence in servicing an existing book;

  Collaborate with fellow Leaders within the Vancouver and Victoria branches to deliver the best of Aon to clients and prospects in need of construction advisory service and solutions;

  Identifying specific client and prospect needs and developing innovative and cost effective solutions;

  Ensure all procedures, internal client files and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;

  Reviewing and collaborating with broking team, as well as negotiating directly with insurers when necessary

  Coordinating / providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;

  Participating in industry sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;

  Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business the importance of

  Skills and experience that will lead to success

  Our ideal candidate brings some commercial risk experience, but it does not have to be construction-related. They have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a broad range of audiences.

  Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;

  Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines;

  Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;

  Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.

  Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, including both self-directed learning and in-role training.
