The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical school (NJMS) seeks qualified candidate(s) at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a full-time academic position in nephrology to support the growth of renal disease programs.
Time will be spent on campus, providing inpatient and outpatient care, and participating in the education of medical students and residents, and in research. Additionally, time may be spent in community dialysis centers, ensuring continuity of care for our complex patient population.

Minimum Education and Experience
The candidate must have an MD or DO Degree, with board certified or board eligible in Nephrology and demonstrated ability to work within a healthcare team to achieve clinical care goals. The selected candidate will join disease specific multi-disciplinary research and treatment teams and have a strong commitment to the education of medical students and residents.

  Immunization Requirements Under Policy 60.1.35 , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose.
