　　The Department of Educational Specialties (ESP) is part of the Collegeof Education (COE) and offers undergraduate and graduate programs inspecial education, career and technical education, bilingual andmulticultural education, and educational technology. The ESP Departmentprepares educators for excellence in teaching with diverse studentpopulations in diverse learning environments while being aligned withthe strategic priorities of NAU to elevate excellence for a bold andboundless future. 　　About the Position

　　The ESP Department seeks a new colleague for the position of AssistantTeaching Professor or Lecturer within the Educational Technology areabeginning in August 2024. The position is a full-time, benefit-eligible,9-month non-tenure track faculty line with the opportunity for paidsummer teaching. The position is or a 4/4 teaching load with acombination of undergraduate and graduate courses and is eligible forannual renewal. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to equity andjustice in education and excellence in teaching university studentshistorically marginalized within education systems. This position isbased in Flagstaff, AZ.

　　The Educational Technology programs are grounded in providingundergraduate and graduate students with expertise in the evaluation anduse of technology tools to conduct and enhance learning environments. Weoffer an undergraduate course (ETC 447) that is part of the elementaryeducation and special education programs. This semester-long course isoffered face-to-face on the Flagstaff Mountain campus. We also offer amaster\'s program in Educational Technology, with core courses incurriculum, educational research, and education technology. Studentsselect one of two emphases: K-12 Teacher, which is suited forschoolteachers who want to advance their technology and leadershipskills to be technology administrators, technology coaches, ortechnology leaders in their school and district.
