We continue to grow, and we want you to grow with us.Apex is looking for an Associate Program Manager (Power Generation/Utilities/Infrastructure/Waste) to join our Somerset team!

The ideal candidate should have experience in a variety of industries such as power generation, utilities, infrastructure, waste and land development.  This individual should have demonstrated effectiveness in planning and managing projects, maintaining budgets and schedules, and building and maintaining positive client relations. Applicants must be motivated with a desire for personal growth and advancement, as well as firm growth, and work well in a collaborative team atmosphere.

Your Responsibilities as an Associate Program Manager:Manage a diverse portfolio of power, utility, infrastructure and waste projects.Write and review technical reports, specifications, and proposals.Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.Develop and manage scope, schedule and budget to ensure timely completion.Coordinate internal resources to assemble team to and execute project plans.Hire and manage subcontractors when necessary.Manage numerous clients/projects at one time, anticipated gross revenue over 2 million.Manage, mentor and train technical staff and ensure quality work product.Ensure safe performance of project work.Maintain ongoing position relationships with clients.Actively develop your own career growth.

What we're looking for:BA/BS in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related field.Professional accreditation or ability to obtain.Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control.Experience with power, utilities, infrastructure, waste and/or land development field required.Experience maintaining client relationships.Interest or experience marketing new clients.Ability to manage, mentor and train staff.Proficiency with MS Office suite.Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.Experience with Deltek Vision is highly desired.
