　　ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　Full time academic clinician

　　7 Half day outpatient clinics + 1 full day of inpatient consults

　　Participate in weekend rotation for inpatient consults

　　Teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and endocrinology fellows

　　Please note, this position will be serving several clinic locations in the southern Houston region, this physician will be expected to be able to travel to various clinic locations as needed.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　MD degree or equivalent

　　Completion of an ACGME Accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship program

　　Board certification/Board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology

　　Eligibility for Texas medical licensure

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Clinical practice experience
