　　Position Summary

　　Reporting to the Assistant General Manager at Ferris Booth Commons, the Assistant Manager is accountable for various aspects of administering the Food Service.

　　Responsibilities

　　Participates and assists in implementing promotional programsMaintains inventory control and cash controlSupervises staff to ensure quality services are provided in a challenging and rewarding work environmentAssists in the hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating personnel as neededProvides support in daily operations to ensure the goals and objectives of Dining Services are metAssists in implementing fiscal management to ensure goals are met in a cost-effective mannerMaintains health, safety, and sanitation standardsEnsures quality controlEvaluates, responds, and makes recommendations based on customer needs to maximize customer satisfactionAbide by any licensing agreements relevant to the incumbent's particular unit, and participate in any training as stipulated by such agreementsAssists in special projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required. Minimum 0-2 years related experience.Degree from an accredited college or culinary school.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
