　　Provide leadership and direction to team membersManage store opening/closing procedures. Holds keys to the store andmaintains high level of responsibility for store security and standardsAssist with the guiding, directing, and motivating team members.Monitor sales and motivate the team to hit forecasted goals.Serve as Manager on Duty when neededAssist with the recruiting, hiring, and training of team membersHelp build product-knowledge driven sales culture, sharing yourknowledge of our industry, eco-initiatives, and high-quality product toStore Team and CustomersUphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directivesEnsure manager directives are being properly executedCoach and train retail associates as neededComplete and delegate tasks assigned by the retail manager accurately andefficientlyCoordinate daily activities with the teamReceive shipment, process transfers, and markdowns. 　　High school education or equivalent3 years of experience in a retail/apparel setting, including 1+ yearsas an Assistant Manager1+ years visual merchandising experience preferredFamiliarity with the Volcom brand and action sports industryInterpersonal, customer service, and basic math & reporting skillsBe an effective team playerStrong people management skillsStrong leadership skillsStrong ethical behaviorStrong computer and POS system experienceStrong sales knowledge and ability to train
