About Assistant Laundry Manager

  Description:

  § Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.

  § Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.

  § Works closely with other management personnel in asupportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.

  § Ensures that the Laundry associates work in asupportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.

  § Establishes and strictly adheres to the par stocks for all operating equipment, supplies, and inventoried items.

  § Conducts monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.

  § Controls the requisitioning, storage and careful usage of all operating equipment and supplies.

  § Conducts daily pre-shift briefings to associates on room occupancy, arrivals and departures, function/event of the day and special attention that is needed.

  § Liaises with Housekeeping and other related departments on daily operations.

  § Ensures laundry charges for the day are posted into the point of sale system and operated correctly.

  § Coordinates all Repair andMaintenance and issues repair and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of the laundry department.
