Our Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM) is a key role in theorganization providing management and support of our Lenexa, Kansasdistribution facility.
The ADM will be responsible for providing support in the management ofdistribution center activities, and the daily supervision of personnel.They will ensure the company safety, quality, delivery, and inventoryobjectives are met. This role will assist the Regional DistributionManager in maintaining performance objectives and strategic planning.
In addition, the ADM will be is responsible for overseeing allpharmaceutical products stored within the distribution center and ensureall storage, temperature and regulatory requirements are met. Dutieswill include the daily recording and logging of temperatures throughoutthe warehouse, management of expiration dates on prescription items, andthe quarantine and return of pharmaceuticals as needed.
Who Are You?
At least 21 years of age
2 years of full-time verifiable history with a pharmacy or wholesaler ina capacity related to the dispensing and distribution of and therecord-keeping related to prescription drugs
Have not been convicted of a violation of any federal, state, or locallaws relating to wholesale or retail prescription drug distribution orthe distribution of controlled substances.
AA or certifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, BusinessAdministration and/or equivalent combination of experience andeducation.
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills andthe ability to effectively interface with others
Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment, performancemanagement, and warehouse management systems
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strong Leadership skills
Strong organization and prioritizing skills
An attention to details and follows through on assigned tasks andprojects
Proficient at MS Office, MS Excel
A can-do attitude with excellent judgment and creative problem-solvingskills
