　　Robert Half is looking for an achievement-oriented Assistant Controller to join a well-respected Real Estate & Property company. As the Assistant Controller, you will assist in supervising the accounting staff and report to the Controller. We are seeking a self-starter with a demonstrated history of identifying issues and problem solving for this exciting Assistant Controller role. Submit an application today! 　　Your responsibilities

　　Incite accountability and the meeting of deliverables

　　Sustain implementation and secure adherence to accounting policies and procedures

　　Provide regular account reconciliation to completion

　　Promote to ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, development, and goal setting

　　Other distinguished duties when required

　　Set up various technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

　　Developed preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits

　　Devise relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like key financial metrics, the monthly flash report, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

　　Direct the accounting team during the closing process to secure deadlines are met

　　Distinguish and evolve process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency

　　Backfill for Controller where applicable

　　Be instrumental in the preparation/review of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting

　　Requirements

　　Solid real estate accounting experience

　　Sound written and verbal communication skills

　　Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work

　　5+ years of general ledger accounting experience

　　Complete knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsSolid understanding of property accounting

　　Foundational knowledge in MRI

　　Yardi experience highly desired

　　Proficiency in Supervisory management

　　Commercial real estate experience preferred

　　CPA a plus

　　Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

　　Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
