Summary/Objectives
Provides assistance to and participates with Branch Manager in the overall responsibility for the administration, operations, security, sales, staff development, compliance and customer service for the branch. Support branch personnel and manager. Build strong relationships with branch customers, community groups, and organizations. In the absence of the branch manager assumes the managers responsibilities.
Essential Functions
Provide customer service to determine financial needs of new customers as referred by CSRs and business partners. Provide knowledgeable information on all products available and assist customer in determining the needs and benefits. Establish and open new and cross sell appropriate products meeting the customers needs. Ensure sufficient follow-up is complete for customers. Assist the Branch Manager in reviewing monthly branch sales activity. Identify variances to budget and assist in recommending and implementing any changes to branch sales and marketing strategies.Responsible for compliance/adherence to all policies, procedures and federal regulations in order to attain a satisfactory or better branch audit. Maintains confidentiality of all customer records and documents.Provide useful information regarding all consumer loan products in determining the needs of the customer. Process all applications (consumer and equity products) base on lending authority limits. Process all applications completely and accurately and see through to closing.Support branch operations as staffing issues dictate, including cash ordering, scheduling, contributing to performance reviews, discipline/praise, mentor and coach staff, and staffing issues. Be a backup to the CSR Supervisor.Actively participate in sales contests. Act as support to the sales team, providing sales assistance and training to other staff as needed. Participate in and complete loan processing from application to closing. Provide supervisory direction in the absence of the Branch Manager and support staff shortages by handling customer transactions as needed.Open and close branch when appropriate.Secondary Functions
Competencies
Oversee all branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager to include approving expenditures, time sheets and all other pertinent documents requiring Branch Manager Approval.
Direct supervision of Universal Bankers, Customer Service Representatives, Customer Service Specialists.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years banking/ cash handling experience.
Provide supervisory direction in the absence of the Branch Manager and support staff shortages by handling customer transactions as needed.
Open and close branch when appropriate.
Notary License
Three and a half years retail sales experience serving consumer or small business clients with two years leadership and coaching experience or Two and a half years financial sales and service experience with at least one year previous experience in a leadership and coaching role.
Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications
Professional Certificate & Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or business or 5 years experience
Starting Pay Range $20-$24/hour
