**[Summary[This position will be responsible for operating an automated machine that assembles individual components into a completed assembly as well as hand assembling components into finished products using special machines, hand tools, fixtures, and water testing units. The Hand/Auto Assembly Operator will be required to use tools such as rulers and calipers, as well as lift heavy boxes and reels of tubing. The operator will also be responsible for changing machine configurations based on the jobs that need to be run, as well as training new Auto Assembly Operators.

　　Uses Mattec to track job progress.Uses a scale properly to weigh parts.Uses a ruler and calipers to measure parts.Inspect the quality of parts produced.Set-ups and takes down fixtures, hand drills, and other tools.Performs changeovers after a job is completed.Change parts out of the machines as necessary.Follows appropriate safety policies and procedures of RDI as well as community and regulatory instruction. Utilizes all safety features of machinery and vehicles. Adheres to safety techniques as instructed.
