Work closely with production personnel and engineers to prepare equipment - preforming all functions related to the assembly process from picking component inventory through final assembly. Will be reading blueprints, process sheets, schematics, mechanical drawings, pictures and other diagrams to connect sub-assemblies used to assemble the final product. Receives work orders from the production manager and the sales department that determine components required for machine assembly. Assemble products with a focus on quality Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications and customer s order requirements. Record inspection data for each machine. Notify production manager of any unusual problems or concerns Assemble hydraulic hose and repair hydraulic components as needed. Utilize hand and power tools to perform necessary job duties. Must be able to obtain forklift certification (training on-site) and be able to operate overhead cranes Assist shipping department with loading of ocean containers for international shipping. Communicate with purchasing to maintain required inventory levels for manufacturing. Some customer contact is required during equipment demonstrations and service inquiries.
