Sportsman Boats is looking for a Assembly Associates in our capping, consoles, cushion installation, rubrail, t-top, and outboard motor areas. To be considered, candidates must have a stable work history, be experienced with both basic and electronic hand tools, and enjoy working with your hands building and putting equipment together.
What you will do:
Assemble and install equipment meeting high quality standards and daily production numbers
Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, other hardware to specification
Use basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.)
Build T-tops and consoles
Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
Follow safety procedures
Maintain area tools and equipment
Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules
Able to read and understand units of measure
Physically able to climb in and out of boats
Be challenged and have fun along the way
To be considered you must have:
Experience with air, hand, and power tools
Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, or carpentry
Ability to climb in and out of boats, bend, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
