　　Collins Aerospace is looking to fill several Assembler I Positions for the San Marcos, TX facility. You will be required to perform a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to use of mechanical controls and machinery, cutting tools, wire brushes, sanding, packaging, oven setup, sealants, and multiple inspection tools.

　　This position is working onsite at our San Marcos, TX facility.

　　This is a 3rd shift opportunity (11pm-7:30am CST)

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.

　　Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.

　　Maintains inventory of product in workstations.

　　Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.

　　Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

　　Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

　　Maintains a clean and safe work area.

　　Ability to lift to 35 lbs.

　　Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.

　　Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

　　HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing is required.

　　U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
