Job Summary Assembler I is responsible forfabricating component parts or assembling the finished product accordingto the customer\'s specifications. Secures and maintains correctcomponent parts and supplies required for the operation. PrincipleDuties and Responsibilities Completes work area setup Fits partstogether in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordancewith quality standards Operates hand tools as required to complete theassembly process Stacks completed products in accordance withestablished procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and bandcomponents finished product Ensures work area is safe, clean andorganized, and that equipment is safe to operate Completes pre-shiftstartup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems orconcerns Maintains a clean and orderly work environment Maintainsproduction records as required Checks materials and finished products toensure they are compliant with standards Performs duties consistent withestablished safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings Performsother duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma/GEDpreferred but not required No minimum experience is required however, 6months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred Workingknowledge of basic math Must be at least 18 years of age Click to watchwhat a day in the life of an Assembler looks like.
