About Asia regional Azure Application Innovation GTM lead

  The Microsoft Asia regional Sales Enablement and Operations Organization (SE&O) is seeking a strategic, tenacious, and driven Business Leader to take on a pivotal role in promoting the Azure Application Innovation platform and its services as the leading choice for customers' and partners' digital, cloud, and AI transformations.

  The regional SE&O team in Asia serves as a crucial link between Microsoft's Commercial Strategy and its localized execution, driving operational excellence and accelerating the pace of customer AI and Digital transformation.

  As the Azure Application Innovation GTM Leader, you will be the strategic leader for the Azure Application Innovation business across Asia, covering all six Asia Areas: Australia New Zealand, ASEAN, Greater China, India, Japan, and Korea. You will have end-to-end accountability for the Azure Application Innovation Solutions across all customer segments, including strategy, planning, execution, advocacy, governance, and business performance. You will lead a team of GTM managers who are responsible for delivering revenue, consumption KPIs, and market share targets for Azure Application Innovation Solution Areas and strategic workloads.

  You will be a key partner of the Asia Regional Leadership team and Area counterparts, such as sales, marketing, partner, customer success, skilling, finance, services, and audience engagement. You will ensure that the execution of the Azure Application Innovation Solutions go-to-market plan is aligned across the entire Asia region, based on the corporate Azure Application Innovation solutions priorities. You will provide data and insights to support and drive effective business prioritization and decision-making for the Azure business in Asia.

  You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of a business unit that plays a central role in Microsoft’s overall strategy, as Azure holds a critical position as a strategic monetization and growth lever for Microsoft, driving the company’s growth and innovation within the rapidly evolving landscape of digital, cloud, and AI technologies.

  To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  An enthusiastic Cloud Leader who leads high-performance teams and has a strong understanding of the Azure solution areas and the segment priorities/opportunities, and a deep understanding of customer solutions and strategies and end-to-end Cloud market ecosystem.

  A strategic thinker who can translate cloud services and AI strategy and objectives into clear, discrete, and executable plans for your market.

  A business planner who can compose an integrated business plan across sales, marketing, partners, and customer engineering disciplines.

  A collaborator who can work across multiple stakeholders across Core, Asia Region, and Areas to ensure that we deliver the best customer and partner experiences possible.

  A results-oriented achiever who is excited about landing these plans to realize revenue, Azure consumption, growth, share, and strategic market outcomes.

  Responsibilities

  Business Leadership: You will be responsible for the financial and market performance of Azure Application Innovation Solutions Area in Asia across different segments. You will own the business plan and revenue goals by leading the Azure Application Innovation solution play execution in Asia. You will also manage the pipeline, the business strategy and investments, the external profile, and the standardized services and tools for the Azure Application Innovation Solutions Area.

  Sales Enablement: You will lead the GTM team and virtual Azure Application Innovation execution teams to deliver a sales and marketing plan based on the solution plays for the Azure Application Innovation Solution Plays. You will partner with marketing, sales, partner, and other teams to drive pipeline creation and conversion, signal conversion, field and partner activation, and content development. You will also work on strategic deals and partnerships and provide product evangelism.

  Product Advocacy: You will be the voice of the customer, partner, and field to provide feedback and insights on the competitive landscape, solution area gaps, sales trends, etc. You will also grow the organization capability to drive insights, learnings, and blockers for the Azure Application Innovation Solution Areas. You will drive standardized rhythms and tools that increase customer and partner facing time for sellers.

  Cross-Functional Orchestration: You will coach the regional and Area teams in Asia to develop strong partnerships and become a trusted advisor with various teams (e.g., Sales, Partner, Marketing, Product Groups, Services, Segment & Industry leaders) to lead and deliver differentiated customer value and company growth. You will also drive initiatives and programs across teams to improve organizational goals and share best practices.

  Qualifications

  Multiple years of business development, sales, technical pre-sales, marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. OR equivalent experience.

  Proven years’ experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving business performance and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.

  Regional and cross-cultural leadership experience, especially in Asia.

  Several years people management experience.

  A deep understanding of the Azure consumption business and Azure processes is essential, along with deep expertise in the Azure Application Innovation Solutions Area.
