　　Hana Industries is recruiting for part time Armed Protective Security Officers (PSO) to join our team at the National Capitol Region – Secret Service Building in Washington, DC.

　　Duties and Responsibilities

　　The Protective Security Officer is responsible for following DHS security protocols and is concerned with all matters relating to the security of the stakeholders, which include:

　　Perform Access Control Duties to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed access to the facility

　　Screen Packages before being admitted

　　Perform Screening Duties to ensure only authorized commercial vehicles and cargo are allowed access to the facility

　　Control Center Operations

　　May execute emergency closure procedures (ECP) during emergencies to ensure all ingress and egress of personnel, property, equipment, vessels or vehicles are denied

　　May provide roving guard services and Perimeter and Interior patrol that monitor facilities to ensure security breaches and criminal or suspicious activities are detected and reported in a timely manner

　　May provide escort and courier services to ensure safe and timely delivery of personnel and property

　　Assisting in plans and procedures to be followed in the event of any major catastrophe, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, conflagration, and hostile acts to ensure adequate security measures are maintained within the command.

　　Requirements

　　In order to be considered, candidates must meet ALL of the following requirements and examination results must be favorable as defined by the DHS contractual requirements:

　　Active DHS Suitability Letter - ability to acquire

　　Active Secret Clearance

　　Minimum 2 to 5 years military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) or equivalent experience in armed security services (police, law enforcement, civilian, etc)

　　Prior Armed Security experience a must

　　Drug Testing

　　Basic medical screening of good physical health

　　Must be 21 and a citizen of the United States

　　High School Diploma.
