Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their unique challenges and collaboratively develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Conduct through research in the specified region, identifying new sales leads specifically for pump, electro-mechanical, and turbo service sales. Provide valuable market feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of Sulzer's offerings.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers. Showcase Sulzer's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven track record in technical sales, with a deep understanding of the sales process.
While a background in electro-mechanical / rotating equipment (such as pumps, motors, turbines, compressors) is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Given the regional nature of this position, residing within the specified geographic area of East Anglia is preferred. The acceptable locations include Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
Willingness to travel within the assigned area, therefore a Full UK Drivers Licence is essential.
