About You :
You are someone who is looking to grow a career in sales or marketing by mastering foundational business development processes. You are driven to discover how customers are leveraging data and information in their day-to-day, understand their data management challenges, and help them understand new opportunities to address their challenges. You love talking on the phone and enjoy qualifying and matching the wants/needs of organizations and aligning them to solutions that will help them achieve their goals. Finally, you are a self-motivated natural leader with an outgoing personality who takes charge of building relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
What You’ll do?
Each day you will reach out to our customers in strategic markets and geographies to generate qualified leads by introducing Aquatic Informatics, our solutions, and services
You will represent Aquatic Informatics as a leader in water data management software and provide an excellent customer experience with each point of contact, and reach out multiple times to each lead to drive connection.
You will prioritize timely follow-up communications to meet Service Level Agreements with the intention of facilitating needs-based conversations to convert leads to product demos and qualified opportunities.
Your goal will be to understand the needs, challenges, and priorities of each customer in order to best align them with the appropriate resources or internal teams for follow-up
You will demonstrate a clear understanding of our product and service value propositions to identify customer gaps and challenges, convey information clearly to help generate curiosity and create a sense of urgency
Are you Qualified?
You’ve likely completed a bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma and you are a driven, high performer who enjoys talking with others and thrives in a dynamic setting.
1-2 years of BDR/sales experience. Preferably in B2B or B2G (business to government) organizations.
You’re great at uncovering the needs of potential clients over the phone and aligning them with the appropriate solution
You’re results-focused and able to meet and exceed individual pipeline and revenue goals
You have great communication skills and can partner closely with the sales team to ensure follow-up on all potential clients that are passed on to an account executive.
The salary range for this role is $24.00 - $31.25/hour. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado and may be modified in the future. Pay offered will vary based on factors such as job-related experience, training, skills and abilities.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
