  What’s The Job?We are searching for an Application Engineer tojoin our York, PA team. The Application Engineer is responsible for managing sales activities & is responsible for coaching the Systems & Automation team and supporting the Sales Account Management team as they pursue new and existing clients for storage & automation solutions. The position is responsible for increasing sales and profitability of large integrated solutions and engineered systems. Develop and implement strategic sales plans, which include but not limited to Rack, Conveyor, Automated Storage Systems, autonomous vehicles & associated storage products.

  What Will I Be Doing?Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

  Select equipment with details necessary for customer acceptance. Develop Pre-sales material handling equipment bill of material based on RFQ inputs Provide concepts to customers and sales team to aid in sales. Prepare estimates of probable costs for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts for the project based on quotations, schematic drawings, and contract bids. Set up systems and procedures for cost monitoring and reporting. Help ensure projects stay within budget despite changes or delays. Advise contractors on adjustments to make on a project to ensure it stays within budget. Work with our legal team and the customer’s legal team to execute Master Service Agreements and Scope of Work agreements. Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Communicate with sales team, suppliers, and customers. Assures project documents and contracts are completed and signed to minimize our exposure and risk on projects. Including Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) contracts. Manage project budget. Additional duties as required or assigned. What Makes Me Qualified?

  Required Skills/Abilities:

  Strong Verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs Knowledge in understanding AutoCAD 2D drawings. Ability to read blueprints. Experience reviewing bid proposals, assemble cost estimates and provide quotes. Education and Experience:

  Bachelor’s degree with a focus on engineering, math, or relevant field experience 3+ years of working experience in a Material Handling environment. Automation is a plus. Knowledge on sorters & ASRS system. Working in Latest version of AutoCAD 2D software & ability to learn customized cad software, Revit is a plus. Strong Mechanical Engineering Knowledge as it pertains to design & application. Basic network technology understanding a plus Physical Requirements:

  Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to travel to customer sites. Some overnight travel may be required. Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under significant stress and meet high performance demands Ability to stand and walk for several hours Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times Possess a valid driver's license Work Environment:

  Works in a variety of customer environments including manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, and outdoors with exposure to elements. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards and dangerous chemical/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed. This position also entails the necessity to work after normal working hours or on weekends based on customer need. Works under normal office conditions where required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spend significant amounts of time working in front of a computer terminal or in interactions with various people. Some travel may be required. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
