Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Rutherford, NJ location.
Duties: Develop interactive reports and dashboards based on requirements for Citi Risk Compliance Technology. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Gather information from multiple sources to troubleshoot complex issues. Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications. Analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, Project Manager, or in a related occupation. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in an above stated field of study, and three (3) years of experience in an above stated occupation. Employer will accept pre- and post- Master’s degree experience. Five (5) years of experience (or three (3) years in the alternative with a Master’s degree) must include: Establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas; Utilizing relational databases including Oracle and SQL in managing unstructured data; Creating dashboards and KPIs for use in reporting business performance to management; Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards by performing and documenting data analysis and data validations; Monitoring and controlling all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as providing user and operational support on applications to business users; and Acting as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members and assessing risk when business decisions are made. 40 hrs./wk.
