JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Primary Care Provider - Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant Location: Dr\'s Court, Primary Care Clinic,Watertown WI Healthcare professionals in this role will demonstrate andserve as an expert in the role of practitioner, consultant, educator,and health professional. Prescribes or recommends pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic therapies including controlled medications. Improvesclinical and cost outcomes for key patient populations throughcollaboration with physicians and staff and by participating instrategic initiatives. Assures competent and ethical care of patientsand families. To accomplish this goal the provider will work bothautonomously and in collaboration with the medical staff and supervisingphysician, maintain a quality, customer-focused, nursing and medicallyappropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development andimplementation, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery ofservices. Participates in research activities as appropriate. Communityinvolvement and collaboration is encouraged. Full Time, 40 hr/weekQualifications BSN with completion of a Master\'s Degree in anaccredited Acute Care, Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Program isrequired. OR Graduate of a Certified Physician Assistant Program.Current Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) license withNational Nurse Practitioner Certification required. Current DrugEnforcement Agency (DEA) number assigned. OR Current State of WisconsinCertification, National Commission on Certification of PhysicianAssistants (NCCPA). Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.
