  Description

  Wifi is the foundation of the modern home. Without it, nothing works. eero, an Amazon company, is the first company to deliver a whole home WiFi experience using mesh technology, ensuring there isn't a home layout or connected device we can't handle. Fixing connectivity is, however, just the start. We're working on the building blocks of the smart home by designing our own hardware, enabling it with powerful software, and tying it all together to the cloud. A home that anticipates our needs, takes care of us and our families, keeps us safe and healthy, and saves money and energy.

  The APAC Category Lead will define and manage the launch and execution of eero’s Online category strategy and growth plan across Japan, Australia and Singapore. This includes many foundational elements of eero’s evolving growth strategy, including product positioning, pricing, promotions, and channel. With a focus on APAC, the role will be the single-threaded-owner of eero’s category leadership strategy, leveraging customer, competitive, product and channel intelligence to define the business requirements for new product introductions and sales strategies. A responsibility of this role is to drive priority across eero’s organization to deliver the business-critical needs of eero’s current and future customers.

  We are looking for a motivated self-starter that can work in an extremely fast paced environment. The successful candidate will lead the expansion of eero into key APAC markets, responsible for managing the APAC business in the Online channel. The position requires a leader who can work autonomously in a fast paced, highly demanding and ambiguous environment. The successful candidate would possess great business judgment, with a track record of strong project delivery, commercial negotiations and relationship management along with deep analytical acumen. Additionally, this position involves working with multiple stakeholders (marketing, marketplace, legal, supply chain, operations among others).

  Key job responsibilities

  Design and drive the execution of the eero APAC sales strategy for key Online/Offline channels

  Provide data-driven insights into the product roadmap and eero’s leadership

  Identify net new growth opportunities and influence the organizational strategy across internal teams

  Co-ownership of eero’s APAC P&L and contribution to new-product definition and introduction strategy

  Actively investigates and suggest new ways to help customers discover eero products on Amazon

  Develops, deploys, analyzes, and disseminates comprehensive onsite campaign reporting with support from OX

  Responsible for understanding, deep diving and increasing onsite traffic for eero through Amazon owned and operated properties

  Builds and manages eero’s relationships with internal retail teams including but not limited to Ring, Blink, Retail (CE), Amazon Live, Prime, Prime Card, and A4B (where applicable)

  Basic Qualifications

  - - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field.

  - - 7+ years of professional experience ideally in an e-commerce, retail, key account management or consulting environment.

  - - Native Japanese speaker, proficient in English

  Preferred Qualifications

  Self-driven, with ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.

  Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.

  A business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality.

  Operates with a high degree of autonomy and can handle the ambiguity of a rapidly-evolving workplace.

  Ability to navigate across Amazon and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach; and, establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.

  A strong understanding of networking and/or technology as a service (Iaas,SaaS,PaaS) is preferred.
