Aerotek Aviation is seeking experienced A&P Mechanic to support a repair station with in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Description:
The A&P mechanic will be responsible for inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of aircraft systems, structures and engines. The home base will be Charlottesville (CHO) airport and the A&P will be working independently majority of the time. Looking for someone that has 5 + years of experience and the ability to work alone with little to no supervision. This person will handle all of the airlines in Charlottesville, transient jets and service any aircrafts with mechanical issues.
Aircraft:
Single engine piston aircraft by Cessna, Piper, Mooney, Cirrus, and other assorted manufacturers.
Twin engine piston aircraft primarily Cessna and Piper.
Single engine turboprop aircraft typically by Piper, Pilatus, and TBM as well as twin engine turboprops such as King Airs. Single engine turbines by Cirrus. Corporate Twin turbines by Beechcraft, Bombardier, Cessna, Embraer, and various other manufacturers.
Regional jets CRJ 200,700,900 ERJ 145 175.
Finally airlines such as 737 and A320.
