Position Summary The Aircraft and Powerplant (A& P)Mechanic performs routine aircraft troubleshooting, inspections,repairs, and preventive maintenance while maintaining a constant focuson safety and quality. Ensures company operational goals and objectivesare met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation ismaintained within applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, companypolicies and manufacturer requirements. Performs efficient troubleshooting, aircraftmaintenance and repairs in accordance with applicable regulations,manufacturer\'s instructions, and company policies to ensureairworthiness. Is responsible to correct compliance or safety issueswith aircraft and advising appropriate personnel of any maintenanceissues preventing an aircraft from safely operating. Estimates projectedlabor-hours for individual repairs and inspection. Ensures consistent,accurate, verifiable aircraft maintenance records are maintained. Readand interpret manufacturers and airlines maintenance manuals, servicebulletins and other specifications to determine feasibility and methodof repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Operateall tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment. Mustmaintain and present a clean, organized, and professional work area.Maintain reliable, regular, and predictable attendance. Adhere to allAero Air policies and standards of conduct. Other duties as assigned bythe department supervisor. Required Qualifications FAA A& P License ingood standing. Must maintain a valid US/State Issued driver\'s licensewith clean driving record. Excellent organizational skills and attentionto detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability tomeet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Theability to demonstrate poise, tact, and professionally interact andcommunicate with employees, vendors, and individuals at all levels ofthe organization and community. Service-oriented and able to buildproductive professional relationships. Must possess adequate tools toperform job functions. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Preferred Qualifications Experience working on a variety of aircraftincluding Lear 31, 35 and 45, PC-12, King Air, Cessna Mustang andBombardier Challenger models. Required Education and Experience Highschool diploma or equivalent work experience.
