　　The Anesthesia Technician is an integral part of the support of the model of care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures that involve the use of anesthesia. The anesthesia tech is expected to assist with the daily operational flow to ensure Operating Room (OR) procedures have the necessary instrumentation, supplies, and equipment needed by the anesthesia team to provide safe and efficient care to patients and assist other department personnel with anesthesia support. The position requires 1-2 years of Anesthesia Technician or Operating Room experience.

　　Position Requirements

　　High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and 1 year or more of experience in an Operating Room Setting. Basic computer knowledge. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).

　　Preferred Requirements

　　Vocational or technical training or degree in Anesthesia Tech Diploma.
