Mobile Developer (Android) - Remote
Our client is a growing supply chain company based in Baltimore, Maryland who is looking for a Mobile Developer (Android) to join their team. This candidate will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge Android applications specifically designed for our innovative supply chain solutions. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy user-friendly and efficient apps that enhance our clients' supply chain operations in the following ways:
Inventory Management: Build apps that enable real-time inventory tracking, barcode scanning, and automated replenishment processes, optimizing stock levels and warehouse efficiency.
Warehouse Operations: Develop mobile applications for tasks like order picking, packing, and shipping, increasing accuracy and streamlining warehouse workflows.
Transportation & Logistics: Create apps that track shipments in real-time, optimize delivery routes, and provide instant updates to stakeholders, enhancing visibility and control over logistics operations.
Field Service & Maintenance: Design mobile solutions for technicians to access job orders, report repairs, and update asset status, improving field service efficiency and reducing downtime.
Customer Engagement: Develop mobile apps that provide customers with real-time order tracking, delivery notifications, and self-service options, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications tailored to the specific needs of our supply chain automation and innovation solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using industry best practices
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of applications within our broader tech ecosystem
Stay up-to-date on the latest Android technologies and trends, actively seeking opportunities to implement innovative solutions in your work
Identify and troubleshoot bugs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality of your applications
Contribute to the overall success of the mobile development team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience developing Android applications
