About Analytics Developer

  Job Description:

  Collects, analyzes, abstracts, and reports on data using visualizations and information technologies to support clinically integrated network operations and processes.

  Job Essentials

  Provides guidance to less experienced analysts.

  Participates in accuracy of department processes and policies by facilitating the development and execution of user acceptance scenarios.

  Gathers/develops and documents business requirements and functional mapping documents to develop dashboards and standardized reports.

  As a standalone or in collaboration with others, develops, publishes, and maintains intermediate queries and reports for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly use by utilizing data models and extracting data from multiple sources.

  Provides business intelligence solutions by turning data into useful and meaningful information so stakeholders can make timely and informed decisions.

  Collects, manipulates, and analyzes data from system to system, assessing trends to be used for performance improvement initiatives and to solve business or system related problems.

  As a standalone or in collaboration with others, develops, publishes, and maintains intermediate queries and reports for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly use by utilizing data models and extracting data from multiple sources.

  Provides business intelligence solutions by turning data into useful and meaningful information so stakeholders can make timely and informed decisions.

  Extracts, validates, and analyzes desired data.

  Defines the scope and format of reports and prepares same.

  Presents advanced analysis in requested formats to internal/external audiences as required.

  Aggregates data from multiple sources into single format for data analysis and presentation.

  Assists in the build and maintenance of a cloud data platform.

  Minimum Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in health care, health insurance, business analysis, or information systems. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

  or –Five years of experience in health care, health insurance, business analysis, or information systems.

  Demonstrated intermediate skills with spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.

  Demonstrated ability to design and run intermediate to complex queries and reports.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience with PowerBI and Microsoft suite of analytics solutions

  Experience with Epic

  Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  Experience working in a health care related industry.

  Understands most types of information used in a healthcare environment and how data is produced, consumed and transformed.

  Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  Proficient at solving complex problems.

  Skilled at bringing order to ideas and processes as well as communicating business concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.

  Knowledge of health care related products and services.

  Knowledge of market dynamics, legal contracts and health insurance regulations.

  Physical Requirements:

  Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

  Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

  See and read computer monitors and documents.

  Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  $28.37 - $50.39
