This is a contract position for 12 months, with hybrid work model. The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Responsibilities
Perform regular data management duties related to item merchandising, item cost changes and analysis, and other data maintenance as requiredDevelop cross-functional relationships with Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Application Services regarding the maintenance and workability of master data contentProvide ownership of the processes involved in master data maintenance and implement improvement strategies to standardize the approaches to these functionsConduct data profiling and analysis to validate master data integrity and consistencyDevelop and maintain monitoring procedures to alert respective data owners about data exceptions. Identify root causes for repeat errors and suggest process and/or system improvementsCreate and maintain documentation necessary for master data governance. Educate organization on master data process changes and data management best practicesQualifications
0-2 years of experience preferredBA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferredStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsUnderstanding of Master Data PrinciplesStrong MS Excel skillsBasic knowledge of SQL and relational databasesStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat is expected of you and others at this level
