Essential ResponsibilitiesPreparation of air permit applications for federal and state agencies.Development of emission inventories, including consistent use with MicrosoftExcel formulas.State and federal regulatory review, and application of those regulations tospecific client situations.Compliance recordkeeping and reporting based on permit conditions.Greenhouse gas and state inventory reporting.Noise analyses, monitoring, and/or modeling in accordance with municipalordinances and transportation department requirements.Dispersion modeling for comparison to National Ambient Air Quality Standards.Transportation conformity analyses, including conducting evaluations per DOTand FHWA protocols.Support proposal development and client marketing efforts as needed related totechnical discipline.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities0-3 years in Air Quality or Noise related professional services.Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel.Beneficial but not required knowledge of air quality regulations, emissionscalculation methodologies, and air permitting.Preferred experience with review and interpretation of federal or stateregulations.Self-motivated, and ability to complete tasks without persistent oversight.Critical thinker that can work in a dynamic group environment.Exceptional communication skills, particularly with technical writing.
