DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Aging Care Manager 1, you will manage a caseload, work with consumers and their family as well as other agencies to utilize all resources available to provide assistance to consumers. You will be required to learn and use the State reporting system. Work will be reviewed by an Aging Care Management Supervisor.  After the successful completion of a six-month probationary period per union agreement, you will be reassigned to an Aging Care Manager 2 position.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.On-call hours and overtime is required.Potter County offers an excellent benefit package.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Three years as an Aging Case Aide 2; orA bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by twelve (12) credits in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
