  Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operator to work in Granite Falls, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/31/2024 Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day. 7:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Merit based bonuses may be given. Higher hourly rate may be given based on experience, tenure, skill, and other non-discriminatory factors. Must Apply By: 08/01/2024 NOTE: NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 08/01/2024, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. JOB DUTIES: Assist with all aspects of grain, corn, and soybean production. Worker is responsible for preparing fields for planting, applying fertilizer, pesticides on crops and maintenance of the farm, cleaning, operating, and repairing all machinery and equipment used for farm labor. Worker will also participate in hauling grain using a truck, and cleaning out the grain bins. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to use farm, operation, and maintenance machinery. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. Regular drivers license required. Possible drug test at employer's expense post hire. No HS Diploma/GED required. Work includes exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
