Job Description:
Overview: As the Manager of Affiliate Relations based, the manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our affiliate relationships in the Latin American region. The position’s responsibilities will span various areas, including weekly reports, monthly reporting, issue resolution, multiarea matters, and collaboration on ongoing opportunities. These efforts will contribute to the success of our affiliate partnerships and the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Weekly COMPANY Disconnection Authorization:
Receive and review weekly reports from OLED.
Collaborate closely with the U+ sales team to thoroughly assess and approve reports.
Share these reports with our operations team to ensure complete visibility.
Authorize disconnection requests as needed.
Monthly CNBC International and other Stakeholders’ Report:
Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly reports, insights, and forecasting on regional commercial progress to stakeholders. .
Collaborate seamlessly with the Finance department to handle billing, contract revisions, and signature processes. Liaise with the Finance department for billing, contract revisions, and signature.
Maintain and regularly update detailed monthly subscriber reports, business summary presentations, and analyses.
Affiliates Caribbean Issues:
Act as the point of contact for stakeholder inquiries related to clients in the Caribbean region.
Collect data from OLED to understand the situation.
Work proactively to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Multiarea Affiliate Matters:
Engage in strategic discussions necessitating liaison between legal, insights, OLED, and affiliate teams.
Ensure seamless communication and cooperation across these vital areas to maintain the integrity of our partnerships.
MEDEA Platform (LATAM):
Serve as the bridge between affiliate sales and finance, specifically regarding the MEDEA platform (including billing and collections follow-up) in the LATAM region.
Collaborate closely with your Brazilian counterpart responsible for the Brazilian region to ensure consistent operations.
Additional Opportunities:
Work on ongoing opportunities alongside the Director of Distribution and Partnerships.
Actively evaluate the ISP Case potential in LATAM for both the Basic and Premium Portfolio. .
Engage in negotiations with distribution partners for OEM partnerships. .
Contribute your expertise to various projects as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in affiliate relations or a related role in the media or broadcasting industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
