　　Job Description:

　　Parsons is looking to hire a ballistic missile modeler with experience in data science. The candidate will work as part of an experienced team providing support in helping to develop ballistic missile component models and conducting analysis studies. In addition, the candidate will be needed to develop, train, and validate various machine learning models applied to our modeling process, along with helping to develop a machine learning modeling framework for our customer. The modeler at this level will work in a team environment but should be able to work independently.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provide missile modeling in a C++ framework

　　Develop machine learning models using simulated missile data to provide classification/identification of missiles.

　　Use machine learning models for novelty detection within a missile classification infrastructure

　　Qualifications:

　　Advanced Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering – Master’s with 2+ years of experience or Ph.D.

　　Advanced knowledge of flight dynamics

　　Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms. Ability to develop machine learning algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.

　　Computer programming experience – C++ and/or Python

　　Strong in Mathematics and Statistics

　　Good communication and presentation skills

　　Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance

　　Active clearance highly desired

　　$68,400.00 - $119,700.00
