Apply today to become a part of our exceptional team!RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESConduct scheduled Pilot or WSO led/supported Weapons Training for Training Devices and Systems (including mission planning, briefs and debriefs) using traditional and modern tools.Evaluate student training/mission performance and evaluate training device IAW established criteria.Maintain, assess, and recommend improvements to mission scenarios to appropriate team members/industry partners for effectiveness and currency.Assess the curriculum and recommend improvements to the appropriate training management officials under the guidelines of current directives.Pilot or WSOs will be required to operate device embedded threat software during training events.Assist with trainer inspection / certification programs and other special projects.Weapons system specific support responsibilities include:Develop, maintain, and document standardized individual, unit, and integrated force syllabi and grade sheets.Develop assessment methodologies for reporting and providing feedback.Report aircrew performance to appropriate POCs for immediate remediation as required.Recommend modifications to Weapons training programs to align with the aircrew Training Continuum.Provide SME inputs to on current and future operational employment and relevant TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures).Maintain proficiency with appropriate tactics training SME lectures; provide input to future updates.Utilize associated embedded brief / debrief stations and/or equipment to support pre and post aircrew mission requirements that support syllabusinstruction.Ideal candidates for the Advanced Training Systems Exercise Instructors:Have been an EA18G with the F18. Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified Pilot or WSO preferably within the last two (2) years.Preferably a former Weapon School graduate (NAWDC, MAWTS-1, EAWS/HAVOC) with operational experience within the past 3 years as a Weapon and Tactics Instructor (Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (SFTI) or Air Interdiction Mission Commander (AIMC)).Each Pilot or WSO candidate will have a minimum of one (1) Fleet tour and eight hundred (800) flying hours in the F/A-18 E/F platform preferably.Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receiveand maintain a TS/SCI clearance.The applicant must be a U.S. citizen, possess ability to obtain a U.S. passport and must have and maintain a valid driver's license.Requires mental alertness and acute concentration for prolonged periods of time and the physical ability to walk, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.Present a professional appearance.Conduct all other duties as directed/assigned in the Statement of Work and/or Contract.Function as a member of an Instructor Team, reporting directly to the Site Manager.Upon hire, will be subject to additional Government vetting in IAW requirementsEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
