JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description SUMMARY: The Advanced TechnologyProgrammer works closely with Production, Engineering, and Product andis responsible for part programming, part studies, and productdemonstrations. Besides the \'typical\' role of application engineerthis role will also support the Operations team and ensure our equipmentto be running properly within the innovative and fully connected SmartFactory. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform parts analysis for producibility /time studies and produce sample parts at the Smart Factory for customorders, prototypes, and regular production. This includes programming,gripper analysis and building as well as running in the parts todemonstrate the machine capabilities. Continuously excel the Bendingtechnology knowledge by participating in trainings and testing functionsof the machine to provide best in class support to overcome dailyproduction challenges. Be responsible for the assigned technology in theproduction showroom environment, key performance indicators (i.e. ontime delivery, quality, machine utilization) and support operations forcustomer parts production. Expand knowledge beyond bending technologyand learn integrated cutting & bending solutions and their interactionwith digitally connected production processes, storage and TRUMPF\'sManufacturing Execution System (TruTops Fab). Consult and demonstratelatest machine technology related solutions for Industry 4.0.Utilization of all hardware / software / services that pertain to thetechnology to become a resident expert / go to person for thetechnology. Perform entire system walkthroughs in the Smart Factory fromorder to shipping. Provide regular demonstrations to our customers.Provide expert first-hand support during the initial production ramp upphase on site. Create part time estimates and produce sample parts inthe Smart Factory. Conduct customer product and production flowdemonstrations at the Smart Factory. Consult and demonstrate latestmachine technology solutions. Support creation and improvement ofdocumentation and processes. Support operations for real part productionutilizing the TRUMPF fabrication software suite. Requirements REQUIREDSKILLS/ABILITIES: Previous experience in applications on TRUMPF softwareand equipment or similar machine tool industry required. Significantexperience with Solidworks, machine tool product knowledge, and CADprogramming and automation is a must. TRUMPF machine tool productknowledge. Press Brake experience is strongly desired, automated bendingexperience preferred. CNC Punch and laser experience is stronglydesired. Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and production softwaresystems.
