  This position is Hybrid, and required to sit in La Crosse, WI at least three days a week.

  Summary:

  Trane Technologies is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Program Manager in La Crosse, WI. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Program Manager designs and develops manufacturing processes and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost, and schedule requirements. The role will be responsible to coordinate and guide larger x-functional project teams focused on achieving project results regarding the implementation and transformation of manufacturing processes.

  Core Responsibilities Include:

  Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.

  Incorporate automation and information strategies as process enhancements.

  Evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective, safe, manufacturing processes and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing operations and business systems.

  Develop manufacturing planning, initial tooling requirements and costs, capability requirements, control plans, and assessments, which facilitate the definition and specification of the manufacturing processes.

  Provide technical expertise and guidance for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.

  Develop and implement manufacturing flows, workstation layouts and organization, and station controls, which optimize value added operations, operating costs, and product / process quality.

  Integrate closely with various functional team members collaborating while enhancing design for manufacturability and ease of integration to manufacturing facility.

  Capacity Analysis

  Process Automation

  Life Cycle Cost Analysis

  Capability Analysis

  Skills & Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or relative degree focus preferred)

  Five (5) years of manufacturing experience required

  Five (5) years involvement with Design/Production feasibility working experience with DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&R.

  Project Management experience required.

  Knowledge of life cycle cost, dimensional capability, and capacity analysis

  Knowledge of advanced quality and design techniques

  Familiar with Industry 4.0 technologies

  Strong problem solving and communication skills, both written and oral

  Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization.

  Ability to travel up to 20% to other facilities

  Base Pay Range: $85,000-$137,000. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.

  Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
