Robert Half is partnering with a national company who is seeking a compliance attorney with 3+ years to join its legal team. This is a remote position with quarterly meetings in Tampa, FL. Company has 1800+ employees operating in 125+ locations. Job Duties

Responsible for insurance licensing requirements, state and federal data privacy laws, and corporate compliance best practices.

Draft, review and update insurance policies and procedures to ensure company’s compliance.

Provide legal counsel and guidance on corporate compliance matters ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.

Manage risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies to reduce company’s exposure.

Manage and respond to inquiries, audits, and investigations on behalf of the company.

Assist in managing and mitigating risks associated with corporate transactions

Requirements

Requirements

J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.

Active membership in the bar of at least one U.S. state.

3+ years relevant work experience (insurance industry required).
