　　The selected intern will need to report onsite at the Manchester, NH office for the entire duration of the program which runs from May through August 2024. United Therapeutics does not provide housing or transportation. A stipend for relocation assistance may be provided on a case-by-case basis.

　　Program Details:

　　All internships are paid, up to 40 hours/week.

　　Interns are responsible for arranging their housing and transportation. A relocation stipend may be provided for non-local candidates. Determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis.

　　Monday, May 13 – Friday, August 9

　　Monday, May 20 – Friday August 16

　　How you’ll contribute

　　Develop, evaluate and/or improve methods for 3D printing lung scaffolds using hydrogels

　　Design and conduct print process experiments for lung scaffold printing to achieve consistent, high fidelity 3d printed lung scaffolds

　　Assist and perform perfusion & ventilation studies on printed lung scaffolds

　　Assess mechanical and material properties of 3D printed constructs

　　Validate 3D printer hardware & software and communicate findings

　　Communicate and collaborate across functions within the organ manufacturing group

　　Perform additional duties as assigned

　　For this role you will need

　　Minimum Requirements

　　For Advanced Intern Level:

　　Must be currently enrolled in an advanced degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science

　　Must be available to work 40 hours per week onsite in the Manchester, NH Office

　　Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
