Advanced Systems Engineer

Canonsburg, PA

Contract Position

$51.17-$56.17/Hour 

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

Lead requirements analysis, system architecture, and integration for ruggedized electronics equipment.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex defense programs.

Develop and present technical strategies and plans to internal and external stakeholders.

Drive system-level requirements from design through testing and validation.

Support failure investigation activities and contribute to problem resolution.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related field in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Master's degree preferred (with 3+ years of relevant experience), or 5+ years of job-related experience required.

Clearance Requirements:

Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Experience Technical Skills:

Proficiency in systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system modeling, and architecture development.

Experience leading the systems development life cycle, from design to integration and testing.

Familiarity with systems engineering tools for requirements management and modeling.

Ability to drive system-level requirements down to design and test levels.

Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred.
