　　CSAC is hiring for the position of Police Liaison Crisis Specialist.This position is designed to provide immediate intervention, support,and referrals by co-responding to calls with law enforcement related tomental health, substance abuse, and other social service needs.

　　Overall goals include reduction of unnecessary ED visits, inpatientadmissions, involvement in the legal system, and length of time on scenefor Law Enforcement through availability of specialized mental healthintervention at the time of crisis.

　　Requirements for this position are Associates degree, but preferablyBachelors or Masters degree in mental health or a related field. Atleast 3 years of relevant human services experience. Demonstratedproficiency in emergency services and/or crisis response reflective ofthe persons ability to manage crisis and traumatic incidents. Ability toengage individuals, assess needs, and manage stressful situations incommunity settings and de-escalation skills. Full time with someflexibility for occasional nights and weekend hours.
