Reporting to the Executive Director of Prospective and New Student Programs, Events and Outreach, this position plays a critical role in the larger team that manages the campus visit, event and orientation process of new students. The Director of Events manages the event process from initial conception and planning, through the invitation and registration process in Slate (CRM), day-of operation and logistics, and after-action surveys and follow-up. This professional actively supports the Visitor Center’s daily operations and large-scale events, working alongside the Visitor Center Director, to support the needs of the campus visit program. The Director of Events works with partners across the institution, including the Alumni Association, as well as third parties and vendors to manage off-campus event logistics.The University of Kentucky Office for Student Success operates from a student-centered foundation.
