MORE ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Administrator is responsible for planning and is accountable for all activities and departments of the HealthCare Center subject to rules and regulations promulgated by government agencies to ensure proper health care services to customers. The Administrator administers, directs, and coordinates all activities of the Center to assure that the highest degree of quality of care is consistently provided to the customers.
Qualifications: (Preferred unless required by law)
Registered nurse, physician, or experienced health care Administrator
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel and deal tactfully with the community.
Knowledge of corporate business management
Baccalaureate degree in healthcare or related field and 2-4 years of homecare management experience.
or
Associate degree in healthcare or related field and 4 years of homecare management experience
Responsibilities:
Planning, orgamzmg, directing and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services (G-133)
Complying with applicable laws and regulations (G-118)
Fiscal planning, budgeting and management of operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters (G-136)
Implementing governing body directives and ensuring that appropriate service policies
are developed and implemented.
Recruiting, employing and retaining qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels (G-134)
Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication
Ensuring program personnel have current clinical information and current practices
Directing and monitoring organizational Performance Improvement activities.
Ensuring staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education and evaluation of staff (G-134)
Assuring that skilled nursing and other therapeutic services furnished are under the supervision and direction of a physician or a registered nurse (G-138)
Assuring appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours (G 139)
Assuring the development and qualifications for professional services and the
assignment of personnel ( G-140)
Ensuring the accuracy of public information materials and activities (G-135)
