  JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  The Pennsylvania State University's Auxiliary and Business Services - Transportation Services-Parking Administration is seeking a candidate for an Administrative Support Assistant to serve as the first point of contact, in person and via phone , maintain confidential information and coordinate travel arrangements . The successful candidate will be responsible for the following :  

  Greet customers, provide information and refer as appropriate.

  Screen and process routine telephone communications , mail, and requests.

  Schedule and maintain a calendar o f appointments, meetings , travel itineraries , etc.

  Maintain files and databases ; assemble and format data to create simple reports.

  Assist enforcement officers with enforcement compliance, ticketing, and towing needs.

  Assist police with the required information.

  P repare documents, meeting materials , correspondence .

  Update and make routine changes to web pages.

  Maintain confidential and sensitive information and materials .

  Record and distribute meeting minutes .

  Compose and edit written communication .

  Maintain inventory and order/purchase office supplies; arrange for equipment - maintenance; process work orders for facilities repairs/needs .

  Education and Experience:

  This position typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
